In July 2023, we put a new Liebherr LCS800 generating grinding machine into operation at Novogear. The machine was delivered together with a large conveyor for automation and an automatic part changer. We can grind parts with a diameter of up to 800 mm with automatic operation and in the range from 800 to 900 mm without automatic operation. The maximum module of the teeth is 14 mm. Thanks to the Liebherr LCS800, we are more efficient, faster and can machine larger series than with our old machine. The quality is also excellent and the stability is at a very high level. During the test phase, together with the manufacturer (Liebherr-Verzahntechnik GmbH), we implemented new software updates, new technological processes and some improvements on this machine that make our generating grinding process more efficient.
